Installation Error

I am currently looking through the forums trying to find an answer to the question, "There is an installation error when trying to load". I am running windows media XP service pack three. I have 4 g of ram and plenty of hard drive space.

When I downloaded skinstudio pro 6 from impulse it did not work right out of the box. I went through deleteing the skinstudio and windowblinds twice and got the same problem. I had a few other issues so I decided to go back to scratch. I formatted my hard drive and went back to the factory settings. I loaded all my software through impulse. When I tried to run SkinStudio 6 I got the same problem as before. Installation error.

Can anyone help?
